Wednesday Night Social Ride - Hills Lone Tree Loop
About this event
Meet at what used to be Hills Elementary School, just east of the 4-way stop. We ride east out of Hills, then south and east toward Lone Tree. It's a very pleasurable ride—relatively no hills, a couple of great vistas once we get south of Highway 22.
Let's regroup before we make a left onto State Highway 22. We need to be careful as we ride east on for a short stretch on State Highway Highway 22—single file, ride to the right, watching out for each other. Let's regroup as we leave this highway and head south.
Also, please note that all of this route is paved. The Ride with GPS map shows us riding on gravel, but that is not so. It's paved.
After we leave Lone Tree on County Route X14, our ride west on County Route F62 not only involves a gentle downhill slope back to Hills, it has a nice wide paved shoulder (one of the smoothest rides in Johnson County). Dinner at Hwy 218 Bar and Grill in Hills.
