July 4th Breakfast Ride to Amana

The Amana Breakfast Ride has been a favorite BIC tradition for many, many years. Join us for this annual event with old friends. We have 2 starting points. All groups meet at the Ronneburg Restaurant (94408 220th Trail, Amana, IA 52203) at about 9:30 or so for an all-you-can-eat German breakfast. Feel free to have family members and/or non-riders meet you in Amana.

Our ride options are similar to last year, with 3 Ride Options

7:00 am - Waterworks Park, Iowa City - 52 miles

8:00 am - Herky St, North Liberty (West of Penn St/I-380 Exit) - 33 miles
Host: Dale Simon

Gravel Option: Start at one of the above starting locations - Approx. 50.2 miles from Waterworks Park or 42 miles from Herky St. 
Host: David Heitbrink

Note: The gravel route will be dependent on road conditions, but it will head on 250th St out, and will go through Grabin Rd, if road conditions allow it (no mud), return over Green Castle Ave if the levee is passable. We will keep together turn by turn as a group.
