Solon to Ely to Mt Vernon to
Sutliff to Solon 37 miles
OR Solon to Ivanhoe 23 miles.
This route covers some classic cycling terrain, with lots of potential stops for fun and relaxation on the way.
We will start off with a ride through the woods on the new Solon bike trail, ride that up to Ely.
From Ely we will head north and pick up Ivanhoe rd, a which goes by the south side of palisades park, and offers some great views.
At the end of Ivanhoe rd, we will head up to Mt Vernon for the long route. The short route will head back on 1.
For those who do Mt Vernon. it offers a number of lunch options, then we will head over to Lisbon and down to
Sutliff bridge. The tavern is Cash Only (they do have a ATM), then back to Solon.
