PENULTIMATE Wednesday Night Social Ride of 2023—Iowa River Power Two Dam Nice Loop
About this event
Starting to get dark in the evening this time of year, so this ride is shorter than some of our early-season workouts.
Meet in the north end of the parking lot at Iowa River Power Co. restaurant in Coralville. Ride east across the first dam to the Peninsula Neighborhood, north under I-80 and through Waterworks Park and Linder Road to Prairie du Chien Road. Head north, then over second dam, the Coralville Dam. Return on the North Liberty Trail to Oakdale Blvd, Lynncrest, 12th Avenue, 10th Street, Hillcrest Drive, Hughes Street, Fairchild Street, Seventh Avenue, and a stretch of trail to Fifth Street, and back to the start.
Flannigan's has gone out of business, and Iowa River Power is closed on Wednesdays, so riders' choice of restaurants after the ride. Iowa River Landing isn't so far away!
Ride Length: Just over 15 miles.
