The Hot Chocolate Ride often takes place in January or February. This ride is around 10-15 miles as cyclists stop frequently to warm up and fuel up. The last full week in July is the annual RAGBRAI (Register's Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa. BIC provides transportation to and from the start and end points, and hauls baggage for members. This is the ride you've probably been training for since April!
BIC hosts the Courage Ride in August, usually the 3rd Saturday in August. This annual bike-ride through the beautiful countryside of Eastern Iowa is dedicated to improving the lives of people living with cancer. All money raised funds local cancer research at the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Your donation can help find a cure for cancer!
There are multiple route options from 18 - 100 miles, and your registration includes a full breakfast, lunch, and well supported rest stops with live musical entertainment throughout the day. This ride has something for everyone!
