Wednesday Night Social Ride - Bike Library to Riverside Loop

Another relatively mild ride for the early part of our biking season. Some hills on the way back, but they are good for you! Build strength and character!


From Bike Library, head south to McCollister, west to Riverside Drive, south on Oak Crest Hill Road all the way to Highway 22. Regroup before turning left, and regroup again after reaching Sand Road. Ride through Terry Trueblood Recreation Area to Iowa River Corridor Trail and Highway 6 Trail and return to Iowa City Bike Library.

Distance: 26.2 miles, a mere 640 feet of climb. We do the hills first, then ride back on flat old Sand Road/Gilbert Street.
