Wednesday Night Social Ride - Hudson's start. Hills first, then Sand Road.

Another somewhat mild post-RAGBRAI late summer ride. Some hills on the way out, but a relatively flat cruise on Sand Road coming back.

Meet at Hudson’s Southside Tap (near Harbor Freight Tools, near the intersection of Hwy 1 and Hwy 6).  Take a right on Highway 1, make a left onto Ruppert Road. Ride alongside the airport, make a right onto Riverside Drive, then take hilly old Highway 218 south to Riverside. Be careful on Highway 22. Come back to town on Sand Road. This way, we do the hills first and then flat roads last.

Ride Length: About 25 miles, with just over 600 feet of climb.
