Wednesday Night Social Ride -Short's Eastside Start (Courage Ride Fundraiser)
About this event
Every year at this time, Short's Eastside (on Scott Boulevard, near Blackstone) donates 10 percent of its sales to the Courage Ride Fund.
At least they did until 2022. In 2023, they didn't. Since we plan this ride in chilly February, we have no idea if Short's will go back to supporting the Courage Ride.
So we'll assume they will. We start our special Wednesday night ride in the parking lot at Short's, and end our night with dinner at Short's, to support the Courage Ride Fund. This ride takes us about 25 miles.
From Short's, we head south on Scott Boulevard past Scott Park, over to Sycamore Street, Sand Road, F-62, then back on Utah Avenue to American Legion Road, and back on Scott to Short's.
Note: To save parking for Short's dinner customers while we ride, please PARK AWAY FROM SHORT's. Instead, use the spaces near Two Rivers Bank (they close at 5:30) or other parking spots away from Short's.
Ride Length: 25 miles, 600 feet of climb or less.
