FINAL Wednesday Night Social Ride of 2024 - Bike Library to Hills Loop

Another mild, short ride that accounts for darkness this late in the season: Start at Iowa City Bike Library, 1222 S Gilbert Ct. Head south on trails to McCollister Boulevard, turn right. Left on Riverside Drive. South on Oak Crest Hill Road to Hills. Regroup at Casey's in Hills. Then take a left, cruise through Hills, head back north to Iowa City on Sand Road/Gilbert Street. At Terry Trueblood Recreation Center, let's take a tour around the west side of Sand Lake, then head north on the trail along the Iowa River and back to our starting point. Riders choice of meals after the ride: Señor Cactus? Big Grove? Something else?

This time of year, pay particular attention to bringing front and rear lights!

Ride Length: 17.5 miles, a mere 389 feet of climb.
