UPDATE: The weather gods are on our side. Warm temps and no rain until the PM. If it should rain the Bike Shop Hop is still happening! Wear your rain gear and ride in the warm rain or drive the route. Please watch your timing if you drive and adhere to the shops schedules so they are ready and you get in on their presentations. Don't forget about the SUNDAY ONLY SPECIALS that are waiting for you. Check with each shop and find out what they are. You can go back at the end of the event and spend additional time shopping and get in on their SUNDAY ONLY SPECIALS, until they close.

CINCO DE MAYO-CELEBRATE WITH FIVE BIKE SHOP STOPS
This is a progressive bike ride visiting five bike shops in Iowa City and North Liberty. The route is about 23 miles round trip. Those stopping at all shops will be eligible for a $50.00 bike shop certificate and a free pint of beer from I.C. Big Grove. Be sure and get your card punched at each shop to be eligible for the drawing and beer. We have added a stop at the Bike Library, so now there will be a total of 5 stops - Sugar Bottom Bikes, World of Bikes, Geoff's Bike and Ski, Broken Spoke, and the Bike Library. Each shop will be sharing a 15 minute informative presentation about new equipment, trends in the biking world, shop events, and offers. Special sales on products and/or services will be available for purchase only on May 5th.

FINAL SCHEDULE:
FIRST GROUP:7:45 AM----Meet at Big Grove and receive and sign your punch card. Also sign up for the ride with your host Dale Simon.
8:00 AM----Depart for Sugar Bottom Bikes
9:00 AM----Arrive Sugar Bottom Bikes--PRESENTATION AT 9:10AM
SECOND GROUP:9:00 AM--Optional meeting time @ Sugar Bottom Bikes in North Liberty, receive and sign your punch card and sign up for the ride with your hosts, Gordon and Sharon Doak.
9:10 AM--PRESENTATION at Sugar Bottom Bikes
FIRST and SECOND GROUPS:
9:45AM Start riding back to Iowa City to Geoff's Bike and Ski
10:45 AM Arrive Geoff's Bike and Ski--PRESENTATION AT 11:00 AM
11:25 AM Leave Geoff's and go to World of Bikes--Presentation AT 11:40
12:05 PM Leave World of Bikes and go to Broken Spoke --PRESENTATION AT 12:20
12:45 PM Leave Broken Spoke and go to Bike Library, PRESENTATION at 1:00
1:25 PM Leave Bike Library and go to Big Grove parking lot
