Details: There will be three starting locations for this ride, so you can choose between 31 and 49 miles. The locations include:
Pearson’s in Iowa City (first left after crossing I-80) - 9:00 am/49/1845
Penn Meadows Park in North Liberty - 9:00 am/45/1964
Solon High School in Solon - 10:00 am/31/1230
IA-1 gets about 8500 to 9800 Daily Traffic (mostly on weekdays) but has a paved shoulder with rumbles. Mehaffey Bridge Road gets almost 3000 Daily Traffic. 10 to 15 minute break in Solon (or when the Solon group is ready to depart). Optional quick stops in Sutliff and Lisbon if desired. The destination is the Chalk the Walk festival in Mount Vernon with lunch or a snack before retracing back.
