Now that the Herbert Hoover Highway has a paved shoulder most (but not all) of the way to West Branch, let‘s take a ride out to West Branch, go north on the Herbert Hoover Nature Trail to Oasis, and then return. We start at a parking lot at (NOTE THE ADDRESS) 1201 N. Dodge St, Iowa City. This is north of the Hy-Vee on Dodge Street, but it is NOT the Hy-Vee parking lot itself. Go north!
