Start at the Solon Recreation and Nature Area. Ride that new Hoover Nature Trail addition toward Ely (but not all the way there). We make a sharp right on 140th Street and then sweep into the Cedar River Valley, visit Sutliff Bridge, then back to Solon to enjoy one of the fine establishments there.

Start at Quinton‘s in Coralville, head up to Bobbers Grill out on Scales Bend Road north of North Liberty, and head back.
Thank goodness it is time to plan for the TGIS ride! The 2-day ride is scheduled for August 27th and 28th with an overnight in Muscatine. Our destination is Wild
cat Den Park, one of the most photographed Iowa state parks. The park features 75-foot cliffs, rock formations, and the 1848 Pine Creek Grist mill and Pine Mill Bridge. We are in the process of planning the route which will mostly be on trails. Mark your calendar and ride with us on this BIC tradition. Watch for additional details.

The Bike Shop Hop for 2022 will be held on Sunday, September 11th. We will be biking to a total of six bike shops in the Solon, North Liberty, and Iowa City
area. Each bike shop will be showing the newest bikes and accessories and updating us on biking trends. Add this traditional BIC event to your calendar and join us at Big Grove afterward to socialize with biking friends.

Starting from Mondo‘s, we go north of Iowa City, through Iowa City, south toward the airport, then back to start. Route created in September 2021 by our club president, David Heitbrink.

Our penultimate Wednesday Night Ride of the season. Keeping in mind that it gets dark early, PLEASE BRiNG LIGHTS. We‘re sticking to safe routes, circling Iowa City: Start at Mondo‘s ReUnion Brewery, head east to Iowa River Power, cross the river, ride through Peninsula Neighborhood to the passage under I-80, head through Waterworks Park to Linder Road, head right on Prairie du Chien Road to North Dodge, Scott Boulevard to Highway 6 area, angle over toward McCollister Boulevard, and then loop back along Iowa River Corridor Trails to Mondo‘s. It‘s roughly 20 miles. Dinner afterward, where else? Mondo‘s ReUnion. Celebrate the waning daylight of September.
